Treasurer's Report
Motion that the CFA Treasurer shall be the treasurer for the CFA
International Cat Show - Carried.
Motion that the CFA Treasurer shall be responsible for the treasury of the
NYC Media Show and any other CFA media event - Carried.
Domestic Clubs
American Bobtail Breeders Association (5) - Motion to accept without the word
"association" - Accepted.
Gulf Shore Consortium (3) - Accepted.
Motion to lift the moratorium on new Japan clubs effective immediately -
Carried.
International Division Clubs
World Exotic Cat Fanciers - Not Accepted.
International Division
Motion to invalidate the election for International Division Representatives
and to hold a new election - Carried. Call for declarations to indicate that
if only two people declare, then those two people will automatically be the
two representatives; and also to include a list of representatives'
responsibilities.
Motion to send both call for declarations and ballots by Airborne Express -
Carried.

Judging Program Rules Updates
Section II - Application:
5. Correction of cattery name registration requirement to be 10 years.
8.A Exhibiting
- Ten grands to be in specialty for which they are applying.
- Motion to include: Must have experience exhibiting one or more breeds in
the specialty in which they are applying in addition to their major breed -
Carried.
3. 14. Single specialty judges wishing to proceed into the second specialty
must furnish documentation to the JPC…; Motion to remove dollar amount from
applicable fee - Carried.
4. Under requirements second specialty, delete breeding requirements for
LH/SH specialty and exhibiting.
Section V - Trainees
A.2. Delete notation allowing a trainee to request permission to work with a
particular judge.
4.f) First specialty judge eligible for advancement after one year, second
specialty judge can more through the training program as appropriate.
Section VII - Advancement
1. Judge may not receive credit for advancement for evaluations submitted by
more than any two clubs for which the judge is a current member.
Section VIII - Licensing
Reinstate the requirement for judging a minimum of 5 shows within a period of
24 months: Motion to not reinstate this requirement - Carried.

Judging Program in International Division
Motion to accept program as presented effective immediately, changing all
references to Europe to read International Division - Carried.

Judging Program Committee
The board directed Donna Jean Thompson to write a letter to the committee
requesting that they elect a chair from among themselves.
Central Office
- Golden Gate Cat Club request to hold 6 ring 1 day show on Sunday -
Approved.
- Regional assignment question: Motion to accept kitten in Region 4 for
purposes of scoring - Carried.
- Credit for points won by kitten at a show even though registration number
not in catalog: Motion that it stands as is (no credit for show) - Carried.
- Show scoring policy regarding incapacitated judge: Motion to score for
grand points and winners ribbons only but not charged with ring for
national/regional scoring - Carried.
- BW title question: Motion that the national award supercedes the regional
win, i.e., NW higher than BW higher than RW - Carried.
- Entry Clerk Software Proposal - Motion to request a demo copy of
Entries2001 and put out a request for proposals so that all programs can be
evaluated prior to any commitment on CFA's part - Carried.
- Out of regional show request to hold show in Region 4 by Tonkinese Breed
Association (3) - Approved.
- Breed council secretary newsletter mailings - Motion to send blanket
letter regarding policy to all BC secretaries and a letter and bill for
postage to D. Stevenson - Carried.
Show Rule 6.06 - pulling cat from ring when advertised judge does not
officiate: Motion to approve the policy followed by Central Office for the
duration of this show season - Carried.
Motion to amend policy for registering a litter without sire owner's
signature to include CO ascertaining satisfaction of terms of contract terms
and assessing $50 fee to person who caused the extra paperwork - Carried.
International Show
Process for Qualifying
Motion to require entry in exhibitor's home region qualifier and to provide
an option for listing cats who will not attend the show - Failed.
Motion to use same method of qualifying as in 2000 but to provide method for
exhibitor to indicate whether or not they will be attending (will not be
benched if not attending) - Carried.
Process for Selecting International Show Judges
Motion to adopt proposal number 2 - no judge may officiate for more than 3
consecutive years - Carried.
Committee to investigate cost of adding 6 more judges at the show.
MSG/Media Show
Motion to authorize committee to sign contract committing to $5,000 deposit -
