February 3, 2003: Most of the stolen Aby's recovered.
Thanks to the efforts of many caring and devoted individuals,
and one very special border collie named Valorie
(from the International K-9 Search and Rescue Services of Portland, OR - www.k9sardog.com),
Carolyn Osier has recovered all but two of the stolen cats.
It appears all or most of the cats were "dumped" near a dog exercise park in Laguna Niguel, CA.
Karnak has been recovered, and appears to be in good shape considering the ordeal he's undergone.
Still missing are Chia (a pregnant female, due to deliver on Feb 20) and Dory (a 4 month old female).
Stay tuned to the NW Region e-mail group for any breaking news,
and please keep Carolyn, Chia and Dory in your thoughts and prayers.
